About Our Client
Our client is a local government organisation dedicated to the delivery of high quality services across its borough.

Job Description
In this exciting and varied role you will be responsible for the implementation of safety strategies company wide. You will be required to work closely with the OH&S manager on key projects within the department including review and restructure of the safety and injury management system. This is a defiantly a challenging hands on role where you will be dealing with workers compensation plus any number of different OH&S situations including the safety of parks, youth centres, libraries and various depots to name a few. This is a unique role in which you will be spending at least thirty percent of your time out in the field as half of the workforce is based outdoors, giving you the opportunity to "get your hands dirty" and enjoy the full variety of your job.

The Successful Applicant
As an experienced OH&S professional you will be experienced in dealing with numerous safety situations and be familiar with the use of a safety and injury management system. You will have a sound understanding of typical hazards in the workplace and be experienced in working with an OH&S department from both a strategic and operational perspective.

What's On Offer
An annual salary of $75,000 negotiable (inclusive of car allowance) plus superannuation.
