About Our Client
Is a large global engineering business with a number of large projects in the pipeline.

Job Description
You will have a detailed understanding of OH & S Regulations and the industrial licensing and permitting requirements. You will have experience in the OH & S and Assessment Scheme registrations. A comprehensive understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Dangerous Goods Act, and the Environmental Legislation in Victoria is imperative to this role. As the successful requirement you will be required to be a lateral thinker and have the ability to deliver change ensuring streamlined systems to minimize the effort required to get HSE services delivered. You will be required to be a self starter who can analyse, evaluate data and develop relevant reports with a excellent attention to detail.

The Successful Applicant

Key Competencies required:

• Hold relevant professional Occupation, Health and Safety qualifications (Diploma in Health and Safety is a minimum requirement.)

• Detailed understanding of OHS management systems and implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.

• Auditing skills and application to OHS.

• Ability to collect, manage, analyse, and interpret OHS data.

• Knowledge of best OHS practices in relevant industries, such as Heavy Industry and Manufacturing.

• Knowledge of and experience in the use of Operational Excellence/Lean Sigma tools and techniques.
