About Our Client

Our client is an Australian based, industry leader in the provision of sub sea equipment for the oil and gas industry. Recent growth industry wide has created the need for an Operations Accountant to join their very credible finance team.

Job Description

Reporting directly through to the Group Financial Controller, your primary responsibilities will include;

• Preparation of detailed management and operational reports including WIP and KPI
• Review and manage operational and stock costs including variance and margin analysis
• Liaise with the engineering, quality and operations teams to ensure accuracy of cost management
• Implement process improvement initiatives across the business

The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you must have considerable experience in a similar position preferably within the oil and gas or manufacturing sectors. You will be Degree and CA or CPA qualified with an analytical mind and strong commercial acumen. You will also have advanced MS Excel skills and experience in using an ERP would be highly regarded.
