Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Education & Enablement you will be responsible for advising customers on their education requirements, developing sales opportunities and closing business for VMware training courses across ANZ. You will work closely with the marketing team when developing campaigns whilst also assisting in the creation of education and learning plans for commercial and SMB customers;

Other key responsibilities will include;

  • Represent and promote VMware at trade shows
  • Exceed agreed sales performance targets
  • Maintain a strong and accurate pipeline of opportunities
  • Build relations with internal sales and technical teams
  • Work with education operations to ensure sufficient courses are scheduled to satisfy demand

The Successful Applicant

You will have demonstrated success in a previous sales role by exceeding defined targets preferably in the technology industry (but not essential).You will be highly driven, passionate, proactive, self-motivated and a team player.

Other important requirements will include;

  • The ability to operate successfully in a rapidly changing environment
  • Outstanding time management and organisational skills
  • To demonstrate effectiveness through weekly reports to track performance and results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
