About Our Client
My client is looking for a driven payroll officer to improve the payroll function within their organisation. An amazing opportunity to work for a large Facilities Maintenance company, responsible for servicing the Building & Construction industry.

Job Description

As a stand alone Payroll Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing weekly payroll for around 150 employees across Australia
  • Processing the monthly payroll for 10 employees throughout Australia
  • Calculating and paying the payroll tax, superannuation, workers comp on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Data entry of new employee information, separations, leave, overtime, additional payments and allowances
  • Implementation of new systems software, Kronos timekeeping and Chris21

The Successful Applicant

  • Have solid experience processing payroll
  • Self starter with an eye for detail
  • Be familiar with awards and legislative requirements
  • Strong systems knowledge - i.e. Kronos & Chris21 would be advantageous
