About Our Client
A supplier to the automotive business based in the South East.

Job Description

The role will report to the Operations Manager. The successful candidate will lead the day shift of production. Process improvement initiates will be a big part of this role to come up with ideas and carry out lean duties. The Candidate will be measured on KPI's relating to throughput, Safety, Quality and overall downtime. There will be a key focus on mentoring staff and liaising with senior management also. The Candidate will have to use his/her production and Press shop experience to ensure the customers requirements are met on time and in full.

A handover of information will need to be done on a daily basis with the incoming evening shift.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have at least five years production experience and also it is necessary that he/she must have press shop experience.

Lean experience would be an advantage.

Front line experience is essential dealing with Return to Work, Absenteeism, Holiday approval and overall production activities on site.

Automotive experience will be an advantage.
