Job Description
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your success will be measured on your ability to be promote and execute best practices in the delivery of maintenance and reliability engineering services across the oil & gas, hydrocarbons and petrochemical industry sectors. You will be accountable for sustaining and improving existing customer relationships, but also the creation of new market opportunities through savvy business development initiatives and the formation of innovative and cost effective maintenance and reliability strategies. Also as a Principal Consultant you will also be expected to be a key figure in promoting and driving professional development and training programs within your team.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this role it is essential that you meet the following criteria;

• You will possess a bachelor of engineering in a electrical, mechanical or chemical discipline, ideally with an additional post graduate qualification in maintenance and reliability engineering.
• You will have a career record that includes a minimum of 10 years experience within a operational maintenance / reliability engineering role, ideally within a mining, hydrocarbon, utilities or heavy industry organisation.
• You will have a minimum of 5 years experience within a consulting business, ideally executing maintenance and reliability engineering projects.
• You will have a thorough appreciation and understanding of all major reliability engineering tools (RCA, FMECA, PMO, RCM) and procedures, but most importantly an ability to implement in a practical and commercial capacity.
• You will have demonstrated project management experience and a proven track record in delivering maintenance management systems and software packages across brownfield and greenfield projects. As a Principal Consultant you will not only be expected to have the interpersonal skills and gravitas required to interface with a top tier level of clientèle, but also the ability to demonstrate best practice in the preparation of competitive proposals and estimates.
