Our client is an ASX listed organisation at the cutting edge of natural resources exploration.
Operations in, South East Asia and the Middle East are supported from offices in Sydney and Brisbane. Their revitalised Procurement & Contracts team is embarking on a transformation project to deliver best practice procurement and are investing heavily in this area.

Job Description
Located close to Brisbane’s CBD, this new position will take responsibility for conducting the tactical sourcing and “hands-on” procurement and contracts management for the organisation’s project engineering support group. You will establish and administer contracts for the provision of engineering services and the procurement of a diverse range of engineering materials.

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will come from mining, oil and gas or mechanical engineering industries and demonstrate extensive procurement and contracts experience within relevant spend categories. You will display a driven and proactive approach to your procurement. A consultative yet assertive style is essential to develop excellent supplier relationships and credibility across the organisation’s stakeholders. The ability to work autonomously is essential.
