Our client is a Government organisation based in the Western Suburbs.
Job Description
The Procurement Officer is responsible for providing administrative and operational support relating to the procurement of goods and services utilised by the business. You will maintain the vendor registers, assist in compiling and assessing data, contribute to the continuous improvement to the efficiencies of the team and provide support to the strategic sourcing specialists in a variety of projects as directed.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant must have proven experience within Government, and a working knowledge of the Victorian Procurement Guidelines. Excellent written and oral communication skills. You will be a self starter willing to work autonomously and enjoy working within a team environment. Strong attention to detail coupled with strong analytical skills is required.
