Job Description
Reporting to the Production Manager, this role will direct and control the activities of the duty shifts and support staff, and hold responsibility for the supervision of the after hours personnel on site. With a dedication to OH&S, you will ensure staff are aware of and adhere to company policies, and help them to develop their skills to expand their career opportunities. In addition, you will liaise with warehouse, maintenance, production and logistics personnel to ensure that scheduled outputs are met and processes improvements are implemented where necessary. This role will require you to work on a rotating shift to meet the needs of the operations.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have experience in a robust IR manufacturing environment with proven supervisory and team management experience. Mechanical engineering qualifications would be an advantage as would intermediate MS Office skills and knowledge of SAP. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrate effective time management, a pragmatic approach and strong team focus.
