As a consequence our client requires the expertise of an equally impressive project accountant to share in this growth.

Job Description

Reporting to the Business Services Manager, the project accountant will be an integral member of this company's finance team. Key accountabilities will include:

• Preparation of annual project budgets and overall cash-flow budget for the projects
• Liaise and coordinate the finance function in accordance with appropriate standards and practices
• Preparation of monthly management reports
• Preparation of quarterly balance sheet reports and summary of financial status
• Ensure all appropriate schedules are prepared in accordance with relevant management and statutory requirements
• Ad hoc reporting as required

The Successful Applicant
We are seeking a CA/CPA qualified accountant with significant commercial reporting experience within a reputable organisation. In addition energy and/or resource industry based experience is essential together with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
