About Our Client
Our client is a well known respected insurance organisation who specialise in insuring high profile buildings, bridges roads and other engineering related assets.

Job Description
Using your experience as a professional engineer you will make underwriting decisions to cover both assets and engineering works. You will add value to the process by assessing assets from an engineering perspective to evaluate associated risks. You will also develop client relationships to achieve growth targets and pro-actively advise on solutions that will accommodate cover for clients.

The Successful Applicant
Coming from a civil / structural background you will possess strong commercial acumen. You will have a number of years experience as an engineer and be looking for a career change into the financial services industry. Ideally you will have given advice to the insurance industry or at least be familiar with valuing assets. You will have great interpersonal skills as there is an element of client facing work to further develop existing relationships and to build new ones. The successful applicant will be numerate, process orientated and have the ability to give expert advice to clients.
