About Our Client
Our client is a leading Australian business. The company has continued to strive for excellence through inspirational leadership, an international management team, and social and environmental responsibilities. Due to continued growth, our client has a requirement for an experienced, hands on, individual to lead a key capital project.

Job Description
This newly created role will be responsible for developing a vision and a commercial strategy to successfully lead our client through a large capital programme to further meet the challenges of an expanding competitive market. The role will focus on developing procurement strategy, sourcing vendors and managing performance to meet project deliverables. You will be charged with driving procurement practices at a strategic level and developing partnerships with a diverse supplier base, to deliver our clients objectives. Critically you will develop and implement strong stakeholder relationships and internal controls to maximise value and deliver the project to time and budget.

The Successful Applicant

With a strong track record of success delivering capital programmes, you will have an excellent skill set with relation to strategic procurement, sourcing, vendor and internal stakeholder management. You will have the ability to manage a project end to end from sourcing to delivery, inclusive of vendor negotiation, contract management, and on time delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a large scale, diverse, high profile, capital programme.
