Our client provides the delivery of rail services to the rail industry in Australia, through the provision of Track and Turnout Management Services tailored to suit the requirements of individual clients throughout Australia. With an unrivaled combination of rail industry knowledge and experience together with a strong network of specialist subcontractors, they are able to provide a ?one stop shop? approach to the management of Turnouts and Special Trackwork.

Job Description
Our client has a solid track record of providing innovative solutions to rail engineering projects to a wide range of disciplines, from studies and conceptual design development through to project development. Due to continual growth and the award of an increasing number of projects in Sydney, an opportunity for a Permanent Way Designer has become available. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading and innovative rail engineering organisation, with opportunities of further career development, advancement and reward. Our client has been involved in some of NSW?s landmark rail developments and the successful Rail Permanent Way Designer will be working in a progressive and established division, offering the highest calibre of expertise to their clients.

The Successful Applicant
You will have a number of years experience working on the design of rail track alignment projects and have knowledge on constructing tenders for projects. Experience in rail track design packages such as Microstation or INRAIL are desirable for this position.
