About Our Client
Our client is the market leader in Talent Management software and solutions. More than half of the worlds leading organisations (including half of the Fortune 100) use our clients unique combination of on-demand talent management solutions along with the industry's largest ecosystem of customers, partners, and candidates. Our client is now looking to capitalise on recent market growth with the appointment of a Regional Business Development Manager to drive sales in the assigned territory.

Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director your principal duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Build and manage a sales pipeline in the assigned territory
  • Qualify sales opportunities based on revenue goals
  • Build account plans and strategies for each target account
  • Coordinate the sales team efforts for optimal delivery
  • Drive sales activities in the territory consistently with best practices in place
  • Meet revenue objectives for the assigned territory on a quarterly basis
  • Ensure all account and opportunity planning information is recorded & kept up to date in the appropriate CRM solution
  • Ensure successful transition of accounts to the Client Management Team
  • Ensure that every client interaction meets quality standards
  • Provide suggestions to supervisor & leadership team to improve company performance in the territory

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will;

  • Minimum of 5 years product-based sales experience
  • Proven track record in exceeding quotas for enterprise software sales to Global 2000 companies
  • Demonstrable experience in selling to "C" level executives / senior leadership in Operations, Finance, HR and IT
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to discuss business needs with executive management
  • Ability to manage all stages of new-name customer acquisition, from prospecting to closing
  • Results oriented with natural business acumen and excellent communications skills essential
  • Extensive travel will be required to be successful in this role
  • Success in selling Talent Management, HR Applications, and other Human Capital solutions is desirable but not a necessity
  • Bachelor degree qualification
