Job Description
As the sole Reliability Engineer within this significant mining operation, you will support the Maintenance Manager in creating and executing a reliability engineering methodologies and maintenance strategies in order to maintain and enhance the mobile fleet levels of utilsation and availability. This will be a challenging role where you will have a genuine scope to facilitate the management teams goal of increasing the mining capacity by over 30%.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this role it is vital that you meet the following criteria;

  • You will possess a degree qualification in mechanical or materials engineering.
  • As the reliability engineering expert on site, you will be expected to possess a thorough understanding of the reliability tools such as RCA, RCM and FMECA, coupled with the a previous track record in executing successful maintenance strategies across large scale mining operations.
  • You will have an intimate knowledge of earth moving and heavy mobile mining equipment, ideally with exposure to multiple product suites.
  • As an experienced troubleshooter and problem solver, you will be expected to display a high level of attention to detail and analytical skill.
  • Last but not least, as a figure within the team, you will be expected to posses the interpersonal and stakeholder management skills required to drive change and continuous improvement within a diverse group.
