I am currently recruiting a wide variety of roles across some of Australia's most successful and established firms within the mining & minerals sector. With a clear trend and focus within the industry to achieve best practice in maintenance and asset management strategy, there has been a significant rise in the demand of Reliability Engineers with a proven track record in driving the reliability and performance of across heavy mobile earth moving equipment.

Job Description

Current Opportunities;

  • Lead Reliability Engineer (Western Australia)- Top Tier Mining Contractor, Perth Based - Circa $210,000 package.
  • Reliability Engineer - Global mining owner- A newly created role to support the Maintenance Manager in driving the mobile fleet optimisation and availability - 9/5 FIFO - Circa $150,000 package.
  • Senior Reliability Engineer - One of Australia's fastest growing iron ore producers and largest fleets of earthmoving equipment - 9 /5 FIFO - Circa $200,000 package.
  • Asset Management / Reliability Consultant - Global engineering consulting firm with an exceptional track record in asset management consulting within mining & minerals - Perth based - Circa $190,000 package.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for these employment prospects it is critical that you possess the following qualifications, experience and skill sets;

  • You will possess a tertiary qualification in mechanical or materials engineering.
  • You will have a proven track record in driving maintenance and reliability engineering practices across fleets of mobile earth moving equipment within the Australian mining industry.
  • As a professional engineer, you will have a thorough track record in the implementation and utilisation of the appropriate reliability engineering tools and practices such as RCA, FMECA, RCA, and the associated software packages such as RAM and your various CMMS suites such as SAP and JD Edwards.
  • You will have the drive, determination , communication skills and leadership qualities required to drive change and continuous improvements within what is a fast growing and dynamic industry sector. In addition you will have the enthusiasm and ability to embrace the incessant advancements in asset management technology and best practices.
