Typical manufactured lighting products are: outdoor, architectural outdoor, indoor, architectural indoor and accent & down-light lighting solutions. They also provide a vast array of dynamic indoor and outdoor graphic solutions including signage, menu boards, information delivery systems, digital signage, decorative fixturing as well as design support, engineering, project management and installation of custom programs for today’s retail environment.
Job Description
Reporting directly to the sales manager, you will be working predominantly from the Sydney based offices and using your time to create appointment with the likes of architects, specifiers, engineers etc. Much of your time will be spent on the road visiting clients and building relationships with key stakeholders. You will have support from the office and warehouse so that you have all of the advantages you need to make a successful sales and manage an account properly. Although they have 15 offices in the USA, and a long presence in Australia, this is a brand new role to enter the NSW market.
The Successful Applicant
Typically the right candidate will have displayed a successful background in sales and will be an excellent relationship builder and manager. This is the perfect role for a true hunter, who thrives on high energy and high rewards and can most importantly close those large deals. It is not essential that you have sold lighting before or even into the archs and specs markets. However, you must come from a background in product sales that displays your ability to win and build accounts. It is also preferred that you have the ability to work relatively autonomously.
