About Our Client
Our client is a leading producer and broadcaster of media. They have a reputation for high quality, niche programming with a strong international flavor and offer a vibrant culture.

Job Description

In this newly created position, you'll be responsible for delivering incremental revenue streams from the commercial distribution of our clients content to digital platforms (eg third party websites, mobile, VOD, IPTV). Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with the Content team to identify and priorities opportunities for commercial development of content.
  • Create content partnerships with telcos for key content distribution.
  • Develop plans for monetization of content via ad-supported, free distribution across mobile platforms.
  • Work alongside Content Sales team to maximize opportunities at point of acquisition and sale.
  • Maximize commercial opportunities for Commercial Affairs within the digital sphere.
  • Maximize business partnerships and sales across all digital delivery platforms VOD, mobile, IPTV, Pay-per-view etc.
  • Strategic acquisition of content with consideration to genre, format and commercial strengths.

The Successful Applicant

You'll be an experienced and highly capable content sales professional with strong exposure of monetizing properties through sales to a variety of digital / mobile platforms. Direct exposure in the following areas would be highly desirable:-

  • Digital rights acquisition and managing producer relationships
  • Background in new media business development ideally across on-line advertising, content sales and content partnerships.
  • Ability to liaise with multiple internal and stakeholders to achieve outcome.
  • Track record of building a team from the ground-up.
  • Ability to manage and close complex commercial deals involving multiple stakeholders.
