About Our Client

Our client are a leading International Property & Construction Consultancy firm with over 60 years in the Australian market. Our clients are an expert and household name in Cost Consulting and Advisory roles for General Build and Infrastructure. They have done, and currently are, working on some of Australia's most prestigious Construction Projects.

Our client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work out of their Parramatta office. The Parramatta office was opened about a year ago and our Client see it as having huge potential and will be a growth focus for them over the next few years.

Job Description

The position is for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who will also act as the 2nd In Charge (2IC) in the office. As a Professional Quantity Surveyor your main roles and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Feasibility Analysis, Tender Documentation and preparation of Bill of Quantities
• Life-Cycle Costing
• Forecasting, Cost Planning and Client reporting
• Technical Measurements

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate must have solid experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for either a Consultancy or Contractor with local experience. Other requirements include:

• Degree qualified - Preferably in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Ability to work from Parramatta
• A professional qualification is desirable e.g. MRICS or AIQS
• Good to Excellent communication skills - As this is a client facing role
• Leadership qualities desirable
