Job Description
As Senior Reliability Engineer you will be a crucial figure within the asset management team. Based on a flagship operation that encompasses multiple mine sites, diverse services and utilities, and a highly complex process plant, you will be specifically tasked with the responsibility to lead and mentor a dedicated team of reliability engineers. You will also have the opportunity to develop and coordinate reliability improvements across the entire mining and mineral processing areas of the projects. Working within a collaborative team environment, you will be expected to apply a high level of skill in implementing creative engineering applications and reliability tools such as RCA, RCM and FMECA. You will also be given the opportunity to drive CAPEX projects from cradle to grave in order to enhance asset optimisation and operational profitability.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this role you will be expected to meet with following criteria;

  • You will have a degree qualification in a mechanical or electrical engineering discipline.
  • You will possess a minimum of 8 years experience within a reliability engineering role or similar, with a thorough track record in applying sound and practical reliability methodologies.
  • You will have thorough background within a complex mining and mineral process operation.
  • As a critical member of the engineering team, you will be expected to possess the interpersonal style and leadership skills required to interact amongst a variety of stakeholders, technical and non technical.
