A successful and growing Tier 2 Contractor who specialise in Refurbishment, Fit Out and some new build projects, are seeking an experienced Site Manager for a key account. Known for delivering high quality work on all projects, our client have a huge amount of repeat business and an extremely healthy pipeline moving into 2012. Leaders in the high end fit out field, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager to join this highly reputable company.

Job Description

Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day contracting business on site, have ownership for the Health and Safety of all workers on site and work closely with the project managers on delivery processes. You will also be responsible for informing management of ongoing project delivery, and the management of all on site staff.

The Successful Applicant

You will have a wealth of experience as a Foreman/Site Manager, and specifically working on Hospitality fit out and refurbishment projects ideally on restaurants and bars throughout Melbourne, valued up to $5million. You will have the flexibility to travel and do minor shift work if required to meet project deadlines. You will have excellent communication and time management skills. Planning and programming experience (preferably knowledge of MS Project) will be looked upon favourably.
