About Our Client
Our client is a leading food manufacturer within Australia, producing many well known brands.
Job Description
Working closely with several units of the business and reporting directly to the Supply Planning Manager, you will be responsible for optimising both specific customer inventory and customer service levels. Collaborating with the demand and category managers you will also be aiming to reduce group inventory holdings and improve forecast accuracies. This role is also primarily responsible for supporting the development of improved supply chain systems, as well as ensuring that the planning and distribution of products meet the goals of both the company and the customer.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will have a strong inventory or supply planning background within the retail or FMCG industries. Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills will be a necessity and exposure to AS400/BPCS system will be a distinct advantage. A strong analytical and numerical nature and the ability to prioritize tasks at hand will be a necessity.
