About Our Client

Our client is a well established Engineering services company, offering a dynamic working environment and a genuine commitment to developing their people. Due to recent rapid expansion, their IT team now have openings for experienced Systems Administrators.

Job Description

Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, this position is responsible for maintaining the network, server and security environments. There will also be ample opportunity to get involved with key IT projects.

• Management of active directory & IT infrastructure;
• Providing escalated support for IT Service Desk - hardware,software & network issues;
• Providing support & end user training for network hardware, operating systems & applications;
• Assisting with the implementation and management of the standard managed operating environment into required areas.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology and Microsoft Certification MCP or MCSE);
• Sound skills and practical experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2008 administration;
• Previous experience with Microsoft Exchange, SQL and SharePoint administration;
• Sound skills in Active Directory administration;
• Cisco networking administration skills;
• Hyper V administration skills;
• ITIL methodology knowledge.
