About Our Client
Our client is Australian owned manufacturer of a range of steel reinforcement products, supplying predominantly to the construction and mining industries. With a well established sales team based here in Perth, this organisation is able to tailor specific product solutions to an ever growing and demanding market.

Job Description
With a focus on developing new business opportunities through pro-actively targeting neglected and greenfield sectors within the construction and mining industries, this role will involve cold calling and prospecting new clients on the road so as to increase cross product profitability and brand awareness. To succeed within this role you will be expected to develop key working relationships with builders, maintenance supervisors and site superintendents alike in order to secure new channels for product development.

The Successful Applicant

• Experience in selling a range of technical products to the construction/mining industries
• Knowledge of steel reinforcements or the general metals industry will be highly regarded
• Well contacted within the WA market
• Background in meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Ability to work on the road in an autonomous manner
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
