About Our Client
Our client is a leading independent manufacturer and distributor of Inductors, Transformers, Switch Mode Power Supplies, Noise Filters, DC-DC Converters, Chokes, Ferrites and Spring Coils. They specialise in custom and standard designs which are manufactured to international standards. This is a dynamic company which has a tradition of diversifying in order to meet market needs and keeping ahead of its competitors. It is seen as an employer of choice and has a very low staff turnover with most staff having been there for over five years.
Job Description
Reporting directly to the sales manager, you will be covering NSW and in some cases neighboring states. You will be responsible for selling a full range of electronic component parts into OEMs, most of which will be existing clients. However, you will also be required to source new business and grow your account base.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally, this role would suit someone who has sold a wide range of product extensively into that OEM channel and has an understanding of component sales into the Australian manufacturing industry. You will need both the ability to look after high profile clients and the ability to prospect new business. This role offers autonomy in a relaxed environment, so you will need to be self motivated, autonomous and able to get to a Western Sydney office. Technical qualifications are not essential, but you will need to have relevant sales experience.
