About ARN
The Australian Radio Network is a joint venture between APN News and Media and Clear Channel International. It is Australasia's largest radio broadcaster, with investments in 12 metropolitan radio stations in Australia and over 111 radio stations in New Zealand. ARN is also a shareholder in the pay-TV company, PAN TV.
The Australian Radio Network owns and operates commercial radio stations across Australia. The network has a dual brand strategy with a MIX and Classic Hits stream operating in nearly every capital city in Australia. ARN is one of the leading broadcasters in the commercially important 25 to 54 demographics.
The Classic Hits brand is targeted to men and women aged 35 to 54 and features music from the 60's, 70's and 80's - quite simply it's "Good times and great classic hits".
ARN's MIX Brand (including Brisbane's 97.3) is a contemporary format aimed at listeners aged 25 to 44 and combines the latest hits from today with songs you can sing along to, in other words, the "Best Mix of the 80's, 90's and now".
