Job Description

The Account Manager is responsible for:

  • Managing and strengthening relationships with key accounts to achieve sales objectives.
  • Developing and delivering engaging training programs for retail floor staff.
  • Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities (independent or retail chains)
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet KPIs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimise stock levels, recommend product replacements, and ensure seamless inventory flow.
  • Analyse market trends and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
  • Prepare detailed reports on training outcomes and account performance.
  • Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Account Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in account management, preferably within the FMCG or retail sector.
  • Exceptional communication skills and adaptability to deliver impactful training across diverse audiences
  • A customer-focused mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A valid driver's licence for travel to sites as required.
