Michael Page have partnered with an ASX-listed construction company to recruit an Accountant to work on a temporary contract, commencing in January 2026.

About Our Client

An ASX-listed construction company, our client is currently experiencing project growth and as a result is seeking to strengthen its finance function with this new contracting hire.

Job Description

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the key scope of this role will include:

  • Helping Duratec meet its statutory and management accounting requirements.
  • Weekly cashflow forecasting.
  • Producing monthly management accounts and forecast reports.
  • Posting monthly consolidation journals.
  • Analysis of monthly overhead reports.
  • Preparation of audit files and statutory accounts.
  • Adhere with all internal controls.
  • Monthly preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.



The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will possess the following skillsets:

  • CA/CPA Qualified (or working towards).
  • Ability to commence a new role in January 2026.
  • Prior experience working in a projects-based environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
