Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be supporting the finance team, in so performing the following responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Assist with end to ending budgeting, forecasts & analysis on a monthly basis
  • Maintaining the Asset Register, including creating journals for depreciation
  • Preparation and processing of journals
  • Bank and other general ledger reconciliations
  • Preparation and payment of weekly and fortnightly wages (payroll)
  • Processing of Overseas supplier invoices and preparing payments
  • Assistance with both AP and AR staff as required
  • Prepare and submit expense claims for approval
  • Liaising with external and internal stakeholders
  • Cashflow management, including monthly forecast analysis
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Must have, or be working towards, a relevant recognised professional qualification (CA,CPA)
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Construction or property experience will be looked upon favourably
  • Hard working and driven accounting professional
