About Our Client

Our client is a leading property investment fund specializing in the acquisition, management, and development of high-value commercial and residential properties. They are committed to delivering strong returns for investors through active management, strategic investments, and expert market insight. They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their growing team

Job Description

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate accounting for properties, joint ventures, borrowings, and subsidiaries.
  • Calculate monthly unit prices per the Unit Pricing Policy.
  • Submit monthly BAS/GST returns.
  • Prepare distribution tax calculations and liaise with external tax advisors.
  • Monitor short-term cash flow and positions.
  • Produce quarterly and monthly investor reports.
  • Manage trust invoices, payments, and expense coding.
  • Oversee new fund setups with transaction and property accounting teams.
  • Maintain updated General Ledger data
  • Ensure accurate property data with internal property teams and assist with acquisitions or disposals.

Technical

  • CA (or equivalent) qualified
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong financial reporting background
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and writing abilities
  • Property industry experience preferred, but not required
