About Our Client

A renowned Australian merchandising business, our client is now seeking to strengthen it's accounting and finance team with this new hire.

Job Description

Reporting into the CFO the main duties of this role include;

  • Assist in formulating daily, monthly and annual budgets, reporting the variances, ensuring internal checks and control and formulations, implementation and management of policies in line with company vision.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly entity and consolidated P & L's, for circulation to board and senior management in accordance with company deadlines.
  • Assist in preparation of budgets in conjunction with the CFO.
  • Preparation of payroll and associated commissions.
  • Assist in monthly and annual management of accounts at entity and consolidated level.



The Successful Applicant

The desired applicant should have the following capabilities:

  • A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CA/CPA qualified (or working towards).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Experience with accounting software and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
