Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse financial reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Manage month-end and year-end financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, including variance analysis.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives within the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accountant should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency in financial analysis.
  • Experience in the not-for-profit industry or a similar sector.
  • Proficiency in TM1 or PowerBi and advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Strong communication skills to present financial data clearly and effectively.
