Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Provide detailed financial reporting and insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with tax obligations and manage lodgements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve financial systems and processes.
  • Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors.
  • Monitor cash flow and contribute to improving financial performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CA or CPA (or working towards them).
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
