As a market leader within the Manufacturing industry, our client has experienced significant organic and inorganic growth across the past five years and is seeking an ambitious Financial Accountant to be an integral part of their business undergoing an exciting period of growth. With a strong potential for career progression, this opportunity allows the individual to gain exposure across a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data to management and stakeholders
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
  • Monitor budget variances and provide explanations for significant deviations
  • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions
  • Assist in the preparation, reconciliation and filing of indirect tax returns

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience as an Assistant Accountant ideally within the manufacturing, industrial, construction or engineering sector
  • Working towards CA or CPA qualifications
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, standards and processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
