Job Description

The Accounts and Payroll Specialist/Bookkeeper will be responsible for:

  • End‑to‑end payroll processing
  • All payroll compliance requirements, including STP reporting and payroll tax
  • Full function Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable and debt management
  • Cash flow monitoring and reporting
  • BAS preparation and lodgement
  • Assisting with month‑end journals and financial analysis
  • Balance sheet and employee leave reconciliations
  • Supplier and stakeholder management
  • Debit and credit card administration

The Successful Applicant

The successful Accounts and Payroll Specialist/Bookkeeper will have:

  • A proven track record within a similar role
  • Sound knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
  • A relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
