Job Description

Your main job duties will include:Accounts Payable

  • Supplier Invoices & Credit Card Receipts
    • Review all supplier invoices for accuracy
    • Ensure all supplier invoices are processed with the highest level of detail
    • Send weekly supplier invoice report to Financial Controller for review
  • Credit Cards
    • Reconcile balance sheet accounts to bank facility statement
    • All credit cards to be fully reconciled to the end of the billing statement date by EOM day 5
  • Weekly Supplier Pay run
    • Prepare and process the supplier pay run weekly
    • Send payable reports to financial controller for approval, and detail any cash flow requirements

Accounts Receivable

  • Sales invoices
    • Prepare and issue customer sales invoices
    • Follow customer's various AP processes, to ensure our sales invoices are processed efficiently and there are no hold ups
    • Prepare a weekly debtor report, to be reviewed by the financial account

Bank Reconciliation

  • Matching credit card receipts to bank statement lines

Other Tasks

  • Review Trade Creditor listing
  • Review trade debtor listing, following up overdue amounts with customers
  • Reconcile statement accounts
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts to sub-ledger account (receivables, payables and credit cards)
  • Assist the team with other financial related tasks and reconciliations when needed

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience working across AP/AR in a small team
  • Exposure to XERO & working in a fasted paced environment is ideal
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and account reconciling
  • Exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal/external stakeholders
