About Our Client

Michael Page have partnered with a Australian construction company located 25 minutes North of the Perth CBD to recruit a Accounts Payable Officer on a full time basis.

Job Description

Reporting into the Senior Accounts Payable officer, you will be apart of a great team.

  • High volume processing of invoices and matching to purchase orders.
  • Cost and code invoices, and allocation of costing to jobs.
  • Weekly and monthly payments.
  • Perform reconciliations including supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders across the business regarding any accounts payable activities.
  • Liaise with suppliers when required.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have a background in Accounts Payable role within a commercial environment. Key traits will also include:

  • Able to process high volumes of invoices
  • Good communication skills
  • Growth mindset and willingness to learn
  • Proactive nature and ability to take control of divisional accounting
  • Self-starter
