Our client is a well-established player in the transport and logistics industry, with a strong national presence and a commitment to continuous improvement. Their modern facility in Melbourne's western suburbs supports large-scale operations, and they are currently looking to add strength to their finance function during a key growth phase.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager key responsibilities will include:

  • End-to-end AR management
  • Invoicing, allocations, and reconciliations
  • Manage overdue accounts to ensure prompt payments
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Preparing aged debtor reports and assisting with month-end close activities
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives and helping streamline AR operations
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this role, candidates will ideally have:

  • Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable or Credit Control role
  • Transport or Logistics experience highly regarded
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive mindset with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience using ERP systems (Freighter 2020 highly desirable)
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
