Job Description

  • Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and manage debt recovery processes.
  • Prepare regular financial reports related to receivables for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address billing issues and enhance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and accounting regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.
  • Provide support during audits by offering relevant documentation and insights.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Receivable Officer should have:

  • Strong experience in accounts receivable processes within the not-for-profit or related industries.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a temporary contract setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
