Job Description

  • Coordinate the daily airfreight operations and ensure timely processing of shipments.
  • Manage documentation related to import and export compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Track and monitor shipments, resolving any issues promptly.
  • Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate records of all airfreight activities.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
  • Support the logistics team with ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Provide updates to team members and management regarding shipment statuses.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Airfreight Operator should have:

  • Experience or understanding of airfreight and logistics processes.
  • Experience with international imports and exports
  • Experience with Cargowise
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with common software tools and systems used in logistics.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
