In the 2000's, the company entered the Australian market, and have been successful since. Due to expansion, they are looking for an Area Sales Manager, located in Melbourne. This new created role, will be responsible for driving growth in the automotive sector, focusing on ute and SUV models.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive the sales of ute and SUV models in Australia.
  • Coordinate and work closely with the dealership network, providing guidance and support to achieve sales objectives.
  • Analyse sales processes and identify areas for improvement, implementing effective systems and processes in the dealerships.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring a positive buying experience and promptly addressing customer concerns or issues.
  • Collaborate with dealers to enhance their satisfaction levels and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Achieve monthly sales volume targets set by the company, monitoring performance, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business growth.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales management role within the automotive industry.
  • Previous experience working with an OEM is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive market and dealership operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain effective relationships with dealerships and customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse sales data, identify trends, and develop strategies accordingly.
  • Willingness to travel within Queensland and Northern New South Wales, with potential for expanded travel responsibilities.
