Job Description

  • Manage and maintain accurate asset registers and financial records.
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of financial systems and processes.
  • Conduct periodic audits and reviews of financial data and asset performance.
  • Provide technical accounting advice to relevant teams and departments.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Asset Accountant/Finance Analyst should have:

  • A recognised qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in asset accounting and financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • A proactive approach to identifying process improvements.
