Job Description

Position Summary: The Asset Management Strategy Lead is a key role responsible for overseeing asset management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and leading price reset processes. The role involves governance of complex regulatory submissions, overseeing capital and maintenance programs, and improving asset management practices. This position also requires strategic problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring less experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and govern price reset processes including EDPR, TRR, and GAAR.
  • Ensure compliance with asset management rules and regulations, and address any impacts on the business.
  • Oversee the delivery of capital and maintenance programs within budget and time constraints.
  • Develop and implement solutions for complex technical issues.
  • Drive process improvements and update strategic documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance and respond to stakeholder queries.
  • Ensure consistent quality assurance across networks and mentor junior engineers.
  • Ensuring network compliance with technical regulatory obligations



The Successful Applicant

Experience and Skills:

  • Educational Background: Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: 10+ years in electrical engineering and asset management, with a strong background in regulatory submissions. Experience in utility, energy, or asset management is highly desirable.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of technical and economic regulations governing electrical networks.
  • Project Management: Proven skills in project management and stakeholder management.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and drive results.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of effective stakeholder engagement.
