Job Description

The Asset Management Systems Lead will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and enhancement of the Asset Management System, including leading the ISO 55001 certification process and ensuring ongoing compliance. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring robust compliance, and maintaining high standards of asset management across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Improvement: Lead the continuous improvement of the Asset Management System, focusing on process enhancements and efficiency gains.
  • Compliance and Certification: Manage the ISO 55001 re-certification process and support maturity assessments to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Technical Oversight: Address complex technical issues with broad business implications and develop comprehensive solutions.
  • Process Ownership: Take charge of process improvements, standard enhancements, and the creation of new practices.
  • Audit and Documentation: Ensure traceability for internal and external audits, lead internal audits, and maintain process documentation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and sustain relationships across the business, including liaising with the Health & Safety and Operations departments to meet ISO 55001 expectations.
  • Committee Leadership: Lead and chair an internal Asset Management Committee to drive strategic outcomes and continuous improvement.
  • Effective management of compliance obligations and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and adoption of ISO 55001 principles across the business.

The Successful Applicant

  • Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: Over 10 years of experience in electrical engineering and asset management, with demonstrated involvement in ISO 55001 implementation and maintenance.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in utility, energy, or asset management sectors is highly desirable.
  • Stakeholder Management: Extensive experience in managing stakeholders and building long-term relationships.
  • Technical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical issues.
  • Communication: Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and engage with various stakeholders
