About Our Client
Our client is a world leader in the health industry with offices across Australia, including the South East of Melbourne. With a excellent company culture and large presence across the globe, they are in a strong position to capture the growth in the current market. They are searching for an experienced Assistant Financial Accountant to join their ever growing team and someone that will add genuine value to the company.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager alongside supporting the Head of Finance, the roles and responsibilities will include , but not limited to:
- End to end payroll on a fortnightly basis
- Assist with month end, quarter end and year end reporting
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Backup for Credit and AP when required
- Assisting with cash flow analysis
- Processing and calculation of commissions
- Foreign Exchange purchasing
- Ad hoc reports and responsibilities
The Successful Applicant
The candidate will have 3-4 years experience in the accounting industry. Our client is expecting the candidate to be able to step straight into the role and have an immediate impact alongside a strong ability to learn processes quickly. SAP experience is considered a necessity by our client and would relish the opportunity to work alongside someone that has strong experience and skills with Excel. The client is wanting someone that has nearly completed their CPA qualifications or already completed it.
