About Our Client
Our client is a market leader in their industry whose products are recognised worldwide. They are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to take the next step in their career and work closely with the Financial Controller at their office in Melbourne's CBD.
Job Description
Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, your duties will include:
- Month end preparation of accounts
- Analysing and finalising monthly figures with the Financial Controller
- Working with corporate regarding finance reporting requests
- Calculation of rebates
- Working with stakeholders on all aspects of the finance department.
- Liaising with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff regarding NZ
- Preparation of NZ annual budget
- Working with procurement regarding costing entry
- Working with customer service regarding orders and credits
- Raising monthly credits, once signed off and agreed
- Assisting with general queries for AUS & NZ
- Maintaining customer SPIV program
- Working with the Financial Controller to progress in CPA mentoring
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar role as well as the following attributes:
- Degree qualified
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards
- Experience with ERP account systems (ideally SAP)
- Strong MS Office skills
- Excellent communication skills
