The business is a leading-player in the entertainment and leisure sector. With a diverse portfolio, they are now looking for an energetic professional with a passion for delivering a high-level of customer service, to join the team as a Assistant Venue Manager at their Sydney CBD venue.
Working as the Assistant Venue Manager within this large venue, you will be reporting into the Venue Manager, where you will have the opportunity to take charge of your dedicated team of qualified professionals and provide leadership through your experience from similar venues. Focusing on sequence of service, health & safety, aesthetics and reputation, you will be instrumental in providing strategic input into the operational direction and profitability of this business.
The Assistant Venue Manager will play a key role maintaining relationships with stakeholders in the business, leading by example and training new employees. A key component of this role is to manage the business in the absence of the Venue Manager, and to offer support for the senior management team when required.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience working in the Leisure, Travel & Tourism, or Retail industry, and you will be passionate about delivering exceptional levels of customer service.
Working closely with the Venue Manager, you will execute seamless services with a focus on the customers and SOP's, and so leadership experience, or exposure to management is essential.
A problem-solver and leader, you will be able to work under pressure. All candidates must have a good understanding of health and safety practices working in a leisure environment.
You will be working at a Assistant Venue or Store Manager level in your current role, looking to expand and further develop your remit and career experience in this industry.
