About Our Client

Our client is a large independent organisation based in the inner suburbs.

Due to audit busy season and the upcoming financial year end, the need for a number of short terms contract Auditors has arisen.

Job Description

In this role, the successful candidate will be a part of a team responsible for conducting external audits

You will have the opportunity to assist managers in the team plan and execute external audits

You will liaise with a broad base of clients, be comfortable in doing so, and you will prepare financial reports

The Successful Applicant

Ability to provide audit and assurance advice to a range of clients

Ability to prepare and review financial statements, undertake audit testing, participate in the planning process, execute risk assessments, prepare audit reports and liaise with clients to communicate review findings

Prior industry experience within audit/assurance from a large or mid-tier chartered environment is essentialStrong eye for detail and the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team

Minimum three/ ideally five years experience in audit

Excellent written and verbal English skills are also required

In addition, you will have commenced your CA or CPA studies
