Job Description

  • Manage the end-to-end bid process, from initial client brief through to final submission.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, sales, and project teams) to gather technical inputs and develop compelling, compliant proposals.
  • Coordinate timelines, documentation, and deliverables to ensure on-time and accurate bid submissions.
  • Support project kick-off and early-stage execution, ensuring a smooth transition from bid to delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including key milestones, timelines, and interdependencies.
  • Facilitate internal bid and project meetings, capture minutes, and track actions to completion.
  • Maintain a library of bid documentation, templates, and case studies to support future submissions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of bid and project coordination processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Bid Engineer should have:

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in special purpose machinery, capital equipment, or complex mechanical systems.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Highly organised with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
